Founding Attorney
Ellen Sullivan, Esq. founded Cambridge Immigration Law (formerly Law Office of Ellen Sullivan) in 2014 after practicing immigration law in various settings since 2005. As the supervising attorney and owner of her law firm, Ellen has had the privilege of working with hundreds of individuals, families, and businesses on a wide range of immigration matters. Ellen’s legal team supports individuals and families from countless countries, races, educational and socioeconomic backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, religions, and family statuses as they strive to achieve their life goals through their US immigration journeys.
Prior to founding her own firm, Ellen was a partner in two small law firms and worked at non-profit legal organizations, including the Victim Rights Law Center and Centro Presente.
Ellen has been a member of the American Immigration Laws Association for many years, serving in various volunteer capacities, including on the Executive Board as Treasurer and Secretary. Ellen is an active member of the Women’s Bar Association. She is a volunteer Hearing Officer on the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers.
Ellen has lived in New England, California, Spain, and Argentina. Ellen speaks fluent Spanish, and she is trying to improve her Portuguese skills. (If you speak Portuguese, please feel free to help Ellen practice!)
Ellen lives in Arlington, MA, with her family. She cherishes her time with her children; she loves practicing yoga; and from March until November, she tends to her perennial garden, constantly adding annuals to brighten up the mix.

Angie is an accomplished immigration and family law attorney with over 16 years of experience in the legal profession. A native of Peru, her personal immigration journey inspired her to help others navigate the complex and often life-changing process of immigration law. Attorney Dorney is admitted to practice in Massachusetts (2018) and the U.S. District Court for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (2024). She holds a Bachelor’s in Law (LLB) from the National University of San Marcos and a Master of Laws in American Law (LLM) from Boston University School of Law. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys (MAHA).
Prior to joining Cambridge Immigration Law, Attorney Dorney successfully handled Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), family-based immigration, and removal defense cases, advocating for clients before USCIS, the Probate and Family Court, and the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR). She has also provided extensive pro bono legal support through Volunteer Lawyers Project, KIND, and Project Citizenship.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Attorney Dorney is dedicated to empowering immigrant families and ensuring they receive the strongest possible representation in their pursuit of the American Dream.

Sara graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University College of Law and clerked for Judge Richard Smoak. She is admitted in Massachusetts and Florida and is a member of AILA. Residing in Canton, MA, with her family, she enjoys writing sci-fi, gardening, and sports.

Nhu-Y graduated from Boston College Law School in 2013. Since then she has dedicated her career exclusively to immigration law. Known for streamlining legal operations without sacrificing client care, she brings a proven track record of efficiency, leadership, and high-volume immigration expertise.
Before joining Cambridge Immigration Law, Nhu-Y served as Chief Operating Officer at a private-equity-backed immigration company, where she led an international team responsible for filing thousands of employment-based immigrant petitions. Her experience also includes serving as in-house immigration counsel at Microsoft, where she advised on complex H-1B, L-1, E-3, TN, I-140, and I-485 matters.
She previously served as Director of Legal for an immigration tech startup that obtained hundreds of O-1, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW approvals for other startup founders. In 2021, Business Insider spotlighted Nhu-Y as one of the top immigration attorneys for startups.
Based in the Boston suburbs, Nhu-Y lives with her husband and son. She is fluent in Vietnamese and passionate about making immigration law accessible, efficient, and client-centered.

Erin Birmingham Anadu has over 15 years of experience in immigration law. She began her career in litigation, where she honed her exceptional advocacy and negotiation skills. Erin has represented clients in sensitive and complex legal issues throughout the commonwealth, including federal court and EOIR. Today, as Cambridge Immigration Law’s Outreach Attorney, Erin channels that same dedication and expertise into guiding individuals and families through the complexities of immigration law. Known for her passion for negotiation, unwavering ethics, and commitment to delivering an outstanding client experience, Erin is driven by a deep desire to solve problems and create opportunities for the people she serves.
Erin lives in Boston with her husband and three children. Outside of work, you can find her coaching her kids’ soccer teams, hiking at Blue Hills, or exploring Boston’s restaurant scene.

Senior Paralegal
Son of Mexican immigrants, Roberto grew up in San Diego, CA. Roberto worked as a paralegal for a bankruptcy law firm before moving to Boston to join the team at Cambridge Immigration Law and to begin law school at Suffolk University Law.
Roberto obtained his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Oregon State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Roberto is fluent in Spanish.

Meet Ankita Rath, a dedicated Immigration Law Clerk at Cambridge Immigration Law. She has about five years of experience in both employment-based and humanitarian immigration matters. She holds an LL.M. from Boston College Law School with a concentration in Human Rights, where she was recognized with the Dean’s LLM Leadership Award. Ankita has extensive experience preparing complex petitions, including asylum applications, waivers, removal defense strategies, and employment-based visas such as H-1B, L-1, PERM filings, etc. Her long-term goal is to become an immigration attorney and continue advocating for immigrant rights. Ankita is fluent in multiple South Asian languages. In her free time, she likes to cook new recipes, host her friends, go on walks, and meditate.

Elisabeth is a recent graduate of Northeastern University and a Legal Assistant at Cambridge Immigration Law, where she supports attorneys with legal research, document preparation, and case management. She has experience in client advocacy and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work in both Northern Ireland and Boston.
Originally from the Maryland area (DMV), Elisabeth is fluent in American Sign Language and is a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults).
In her free time, she enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and visiting farmers markets around Boston.

Linh was born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam, and recently joined Cambridge Immigration Law as a Legal Assistant, supporting attorneys on legal research, document preparation, and case management. Linh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Global Affairs from Southern New Hampshire University.
As an immigrant herself, Linh is deeply passionate about helping others navigate the immigration law system. She is fluent in Vietnamese and has previously served as a Vietnamese Medical and Legal Interpreter for LEP (Limited English Proficiency) individuals in the southern New Hampshire area.
In her free time, Linh likes to cook and bake. Prior to joining Cambridge Immigration Law, Linh ran a home-bakery business specializing in multi-flavor tiramisu and asian-inspired desserts based in Manchester, NH. She now resides in Somerville, MA.
